How to Book. Booking is easy: choose your session on our booking page and reserve your date. A non-refundable retainer of $100 secures your date and time, and the remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
Wardrobe. Our studio offers a selection of beautiful maternity gowns for your session. Please wear seamless, neutral or skin-toned undergarments so nothing shows through your dress, or match them to your gown. Hair and makeup are not included in the session fee, so please arrive photo-ready; professional makeup is recommended. Partners look best in solid neutrals (black, white, grey, or navy): a well-fitted t-shirt or dress shirt with dark slacks or jeans, wrinkle-free. If little ones are joining, a nap and a snack beforehand help, and a small quiet toy or book is a great idea. Before your session, get a full 8 hours of sleep, drink plenty of water in the days before, and have your nails, fingers and toes, neatly manicured. You are welcome to bring personal props, such as ultrasound photos, baby shoes, a sentimental blanket, or a favorite teddy bear.
Your Session. Your session day is relaxed and fully guided. Mariento has planned the best angles and lighting for you, and will guide you through every pose and expression. It is completely normal to feel a little awkward at first. Just relax, breathe, and focus on your baby and your partner. If you feel uncomfortable, need a break, or remember a prop you brought, tell us right away; your comfort is our priority. Most of all, enjoy it: your session is a fun, memorable celebration of your journey into motherhood.
What Is Included. After your session, we carefully select and professionally edit your images. Your edited, high-resolution digital photos will be ready within 4 business days in a private, secure online gallery that only you and our studio can access. Please download your photos within 30 days (1 month). After that, the gallery is automatically and permanently deleted from the server, and a restoration fee may apply if you need it restored. Mariento Photography may use images from your session for studio promotion, display, and social media. If you prefer that your images not be used, please let us know in writing before your session.
Where We Shoot. Mariento Photography is based in South Florida, serving Miami to Fort Lauderdale, including beautiful beach maternity sessions.
Questions. Need to reschedule? Please give us at least 72 hours' notice, and your retainer can be applied to a new session within 90 days, subject to availability. If you cancel, the retainer is non-refundable. Please arrive on time: a late fee of $50 applies for arrivals more than 25 minutes late, and extensive delays may shorten your session.
